Cinnamon bread has a bakery-fresh flavor!  Cinnamon bread is a simple and quick recipe that only requires a few ingredients! It's wonderful for breakfast, dessert, or even as a housewarming present.



Ingredients 🌿


🔵1 cup unsalted butter, softened

🔵2 cups sugar, plus 1/3 cup of sugar for the cinnamon swirl

🔵2 eggs

🔵1 Tablespoons vanilla extract

🔵2 cups buttermilk

🔵4 cups flour

🔵2 Teaspoons baking soda

🔵2 Teaspoons ground cinnamon


How to do

Set the oven to 350 degrees. Bread pans can be lined with tinfoil or nonstick spray. 


Beat the butter and 2 cups sugar in a stand mixer basin with a paddle attachment until they are light and fluffy. 

Add the vanilla extract and the eggs. Mix thoroughly, scraping down the sides as necessary.

To avoid spreading flour all over the place, carefully add the flour, buttermilk, and baking soda as the mixer is running. 

2 bread pans should receive 1/4 of the batter each.

Combine the two tablespoons of cinnamon and the 1/3 cup of sugar.

Top the batter in the bread pans with 1/4 of the mixture. 

The remaining batter should be divided between the two bread pans, and the remaining cinnamon-sugar topping should be added.

Swirl the top by using a knife or toothpick. 

Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. 

For about 20 minutes, let the bread sit on a cooling sheet in the bread pans.

Take the bread out of the pan and let it cool completely.
